The past weekend was super busy for me. By chance, I was invited to work for the 2022 Beauty UK Show in Ricoh Arena. What a tiring but fulfilling weekend!
The Beauty UK show is the largest annual Beauty and Hair show for professionals. Due to pandemic, I haven't been to this show for past 2 years. In this year, I wasn't plan to participating in this show as well due to my busy work schedule at Beauty Bee. But last Tuesday, my aesthetics teacher Anna called me. Because their team couldn't find a suitable qualified level 4 ultrasound therapist, so they invited me to go to the show to help for demostrating couple of ultrasound beauty instrument to clients. By this way, I was assigned to work on this show for 2 days.

In fact, it's not bad to at all to participating the Beauty UK Show. As a professional beauty therapist, this is a great chance for me to learning about the latest trends and access latest information. At the same time, I had opportunities to communicating with many outstanding people in beauty industry. This can help me a lot on improving my professional capabilities. I had a really good conversation with Cat Finlayson who placed 5th in face at the world body paint festival. I also watched presentation from Sean Maloney which helped me understand better about celebrity make up skills. I also met James Maclnerney, the famous beauty-glamour makeup artist. Last time I saw him was from the BBC show "glow up". Two days of experiences have benefited me a lot.
Of couse, learning and communication are not all about this show. In fact, I worked hard during most of the time in Ricoh Arena. As a professional ultrasound therapist, I introducing, demonstrating, and recommending the latest ultrasound technology to clients. I talked impact of latest ultrasound technology on overall development of whole beauty industry. I introduced and shown them how ultrasound contributes to the entire beauty industry in terms of body contouring and anti-aging.
In many times, I need to work with Anna's team closely to show individual clients how ultrasound can melt and remove unwanted fat from specific areas of the body. Some customers will be more interested in ultrasound anti-aging technology. So we need to demonstating with combination of Ultherapy and Hifu machine. Sometimes, I shared my own working experiences in Beauty Bee, this can give them a better understanding of the advantages of ultrasonic beauty. Overall, two days working in Ricoh Arena were very fulfilling.

In my spare time, I will definitely not miss the opportunities to seeking more treatment products for Beauty Bee. I talked vith various suppliers. As a former customer of "Cosmeditech" and "3D-Aesthetics", the showcases of these two high-end beauty instruments will definitely not be missed by me. I had conversations with both sales team, and I learned about the features and new functions of the latest generation of their beauty devices. Because there is not much functional upgrade with Beauty Bee's current devices, so I am giving up to upgrade my current beauty devices this time.

Howevere, The new 3D Dermafocus device still looks very attractive. It combined micro-needling with radio frequency technologies together. With micro-needle penetrate to epidermis, radio frequency can reash and function to deeper SMAS layer. From a certain point of view, this allows the radio frequency treatment achieving a part of effect which similar to HIFU.
Dermalux's next generation Phototherapy light
"Dermalux" also launched their next generation phototherapy light. This is upgraded version of phototherapy light currently used in Beauty Bee. The appearance of device has been changed to more technological feeling, and output power were upgraded.

However, the biggest reward for me to participating this show is that I found the perfect massage oil for my salon. I've personally tested dozens of massage oils in past 2 years, but have always been dissatisfied by the massage oils available on the market. Either their ingredients are not all-natural, or the fragrance is too strong, or they are not easily absorbed by the skin. This time, I was surprised to find out that Gemology also participated in this Beauty UK Show with their latest products. I knew Gemology for a long time and knew they only supply custom massage oils to some high-end hotels and spas. So after trying out all of their massage oils, I signed up for 3 of their custom products without any hesitation. The Beauty UK Show is over now. I have to say that this weekend was an unforgettable experience for me and I have benefited a lot from participating this show. I will try my best to combine the latest beauty trends with my services and pass them to my clients.
